Some things in life are free! Yes, FREE!
It's very easy to get carried away with buying craft supplies, anyone else got boxes/bags/cupboards full of little treasures that will 'one day' come in handy? I know I have, and I'm a complete sucker for little pots of beads and sequins!
Today though it's all about free. I love free.
I wanted to collect some bits and bobs for my autumn crafts from our local woodland. I knew roughly what I was keeping an eye out for, but of course 'beggars can't be choosers!'. It's all about seeing what's there.
We love going to the woods at this time of year, when the air is cold and Autumn has definitely arrived!
I only ever pick bits off the floor, never take anything from the trees/plant's that are still growing!
These boots have been everywhere! From festivals to the garden! I even wore them on my wedding day! The little yellow ribbon is in memory of my nan, it was her favourite colour and I know she would love to be walking with me now.
It was lovely to be outside and feel the sun on my face.
We even carried our cat pumpkin for a little outing to the woods! He was so cute!
The colours of Autumn are so lovely
Then it was time to head home to our little cottage and warm up infront of the fire!
Where are your favourite places to go and collect free things? I wold love to hear them.
